About The Position

As a Flow Line Tech, you will work in a flowline where parts move from one tech to another. In the role you will be removing the burr from parts that were milled and modifying (grinding, bending) other details to fit the area you deburred. You will also be Correcting or manipulating parts to fit up for a welder to put together and you will also learn how to use a press to install rivets. You will be on your feet all day at a workstation, but you will be moving frequently.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Deburr metal details using hand tools to remove burr from machining
  • Countersink and ream holes with hand tools
  • Marking parts using Electronic etch
  • Assemble parts using rivets and nut plates
  • Bending, Blanking, Forming using a hydraulic press to manipulate the metal
  • Inspect own work using basic inspection equipment and quick-check gaging
  • Use Kaizen to flow parts and drive down costs
  • Responsible for accurately completing paperwork relating to counts, scrap, time according to Company policy
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
