About The Position

The Flow Cytometry Specialist at Miltenyi Biotec is responsible for driving sales through lead generation, customer presentations, and product demonstrations in the life sciences sector. This role involves working independently or alongside technical sales representatives to meet sales forecasts and develop strong customer relationships, ultimately contributing to the advancement of biomedical research and therapies.

Requirements

• Ph.D., M.S. or B.S. degree from a four-year college or university.
• Three to five years of equipment sales experience in the life sciences environment, with flow cytometry experience preferred.
• Familiarity with a variety of sales concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Valid driver's license and ability to receive appropriate clearance for restricted government accounts.

Responsibilities

• Meet and/or exceed company sales forecasts in designated area for assigned products.
• Identify potential sales leads and develop sales plans for converting leads to sales.
• Make customer presentations and workshops to build product interest and engage key opinion leaders (KOLs).
• Plan and conduct product demos in coordination with FCAS and/or TSC.
• Travel throughout assigned area to develop strong customer relationships and perform product demonstrations.
• Provide primary field support for the MACSQuant® install base, including onsite training and applications support post-sale.
• Use and comply with corporate electronic account management system (CRM) for documenting customer interactions and managing leads.
• Maintain relationships with MACSQuant® install base and coordinate communication with FCAS and TSC.
• Participate in strategic market analysis and provide competitive information to management.
• Work collaboratively in shared accounts to grow overall company sales.
