About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Flow Cytometry Data Analyst to join our team in Brentwood, TN! Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, Day Shift Job Responsibilities: The Flow Cytometry Data Analyst develops and maintains the analysis tools that are used in validations and clinical trials. This position is responsible for building the assay’s analysis package, including the FCS Express gating template, macro-enabled Excel reporting tool, and training materials. They use their analysis package to analyze flow cytometry data during validation, compile it into excel workbooks, and eventually plot the data in Tableau. Their training materials are used to transfer the analysis package from validations to the clinical trials team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in flow cytometry, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel. Excel skills useful for the role include familiarity with advanced formulas, core excel functionality, and VBA scripting for process automation. A collaborative mindset, technical curiosity, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deliverables within tight timelines are essential for success in this role. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Immunology, Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Biomedical Sciences, or Bioinformatics.
  • Strong working knowledge of flow cytometry principles, experimental design, and commonly assayed leukocyte subsets.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree
  • Hands-on experience with FCS Express or comparable analysis software; experience with Excel automation (macros, formulas) and Tableau.
  • Familiarity with Python for data transformation, automation, or reporting workflows is a strong plus.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results under tight timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Analysis Packages: Build and validate FCS Express 7 gating templates, macro-enabled Excel reporting tools, and PowerPoint training materials to support validation projects.
  • Analyze Validation Data: Perform data analysis and quality control checks, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all datasets.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with Scientists to define gating strategies and interpret results, ensuring analytical methods align with study design and scientific goals.
  • Data Reporting & Visualization: Compile analyzed data into clear, concise tables and visual summaries using Tableau for validation reports.
  • Training & Technology Transfer: Lead training sessions for operational laboratories, ensuring smooth handoff of analytical workflows during assay transfer.
  • Maintain Documentation & Compliance: Uphold rigorous documentation and quality standards in alignment with regulatory and departmental expectations.
