About The Position
Overview ED Patient Flow Coordinator PT Nights Weekend Option Piedmont Athens Responsibilities The Emergency Department (ED) Patient Flow Coordinator position is responsible for the overall movement of patients through the ED in a safe and efficient manner. This position will coordinate all patient care activities and be a liaison with the ED medical staff to ensure that care can be delivered in an efficient and safe manner. The Patient Flow Coordinator appropriately delegates the workload and is a role model for teamwork, leadership and professionalism in the ED. Qualifications Education Graduate from a nursing program Required Bachelor’s Degree of Nursing Preferred Work Experience 1 year of Emergency Department experience, as a registered nurse (RN) Required Experience participating in and/or leading quality and process improvement projects Required Licenses and Certifications RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Required BCLS - Basic Life Support Required ACLS Required PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support Required CEN - Certified Emergency Room Nurse Preferred Business Unit : Company Name Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital
Requirements
- Graduate from a nursing program
- 1 year of Emergency Department experience, as a registered nurse (RN) Required

- BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
- ACLS Required
