About The Position

Support our individuals with all their needs. Ensure their health & safety needs. Assist them with their vocational tasks, be a mentor and example to all. Run the florist with your individual’s assistance Requirements MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Provide training, supervision, instruction and supports to individuals in all agency settings, on site or in the community. · Attend worker, program, and agency required trainings and meetings and give input on individual plan development as required or asked · Assist to develop and track all worker goals and other daily documentation · Be aware of all Mealtime Procedures and always supervise individuals during meals · Provide transportation as needed for outings, 2 daily transports and floral deliveries · Provide on-going necessary supports as indicated by their IP for each worker. Assist individuals to complete tasks as independently as possible assisting if needed for the task to be completed properly · Assist staff & individuals during fire drills or other emergency situations · Assist in providing a positive program environment to staff & participants · Complete and maintain all daily individual documentation and worker weekly notes. · Complete all business documents at the florist daily: ie. Register reconciliation, delivery notes and delivery confirmations · At the end of each month remove all data collection sheets from each person’s book and added needed paperwork for the next month · Ensure all extra documents are filled out by end of day if applicable, ie: 255, Seizure protocol, behavior data, ABC’s, minor incidents, etc. · Sign off on COMPLETED Paylocity punches and submit with any mileage forms to your manager by Friday PM · Document appropriately in all Travel Books when using the Company Vehicles · It is your responsibility to let your immediate supervisor know if any of your trainings are getting ready to expire. Please give them 60 days’ notice of expiration · Have knowledge & follow all the participants water safety, fall risks, behavior, toileting & LON requirements · Keep the florist decorated seasonally · Maintain fresh flowers and coolers · Maintain all floral supplies · Assist to maintain a clean, neat and organized shop · Assist with taking and logging orders · Make floral arrangements when at the florist and assist each other with orders and deliveries · Have a working knowledge of Bloomnet, Square, 1 800 flowers, door dash, Dove, and our florist web sites · Inspection of Van(s), mileage and transport logs due the first day of the month to Operations Coordinator · Complete the OWC Property safety checklist · Provide assistance to peers as needed · Must have the ability to be flexible with schedule and be a team player · Learn & follow all agency P&P and mission statement · Learn & follow all emergency & safety procedures for the agency · Be involved in OWC fundraising efforts · Perform other duties as they arise · Maintain mutual respect & professionalism for all co-workers & individual’s daily QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB: · GED/High School diploma · 3 years’ experience in a day program setting · Must be reliable, dependable, flexible with your hours · Must possess proven experience and success · CPR/First Aid, Med Cert, PMT a plus · Must possess valid driver’s license and have 3 years’ experience clean driving · Ability to transport individuals and flower deliveries · Must be able to work as part of a team as well as be independent KEY COMPETENCIES: · Computer skills, Organizational skills, Interpersonal and Communication skills, Problem solving skills, good verbal and written skills, caring and nurturing, honest, reliable and punctual. Ideal staff is creative, knowledgeable of flowers, plants and horticulture, understanding that all individuals with ID can work in the community if they desire No breaks are given in this position as you are responsible for the safety and well being of individuals mealtime is family style PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to carry a minimum of 40 pounds, bending, standing and sitting for long periods of time.

Requirements
