About The Position

✨Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Florida State Licensed Therapist at Fort Myers Academy in Fort Myers, FL ✨ Ft. Myers Academy (FMYA) is located in Fort Myers, Florida. We are a moderate risk, all-female program, contracted through the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice, which offers comprehensive care and treatment, specializing in evidence-based intensive mental health services. The academy offers qualified supervision hours. We are dedicated to providing high-quality care in a serene and supportive environment, designed to promote healing and recovery for individuals facing mental health challenges. With a focus on evidence-based practices, Ft. Myers Academy ensures that each client receives personalized, effective treatment tailored to their specific needs.

Requirements

Possess a MA, MS or MSW.
Licensed LMSW, LMFT, or LMHC.
Prior Case Management experience required including three years’ experience with juveniles.
MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE LICENSE IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA

Nice To Haves

Prior substance abuse education, intervention and treatment services provided to juveniles (CAC II or CAC III preferred).

Responsibilities

developing, implementing, and overseeing case plans and treatment programs based on the needs of each student and the requirements of the placing agency.
provide individual, group, family, and case management services while ensuring the program meets therapeutic goals.
supervises group living staff, ensuring proper support for students.
maintain accurate documentation
ensure compliance with regulations
contribute to the program's ongoing development.
