About The Position

As a Floral Merchandiser at Milam’s Markets, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective presentation and management of floral products. You will work to create visually appealing displays, maintain accurate pricing, and adhere to all policies related to product representation and safety.

Requirements

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Prolonged periods of standing, bending, and reaching.
Previous experience in a retail or floral environment is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow policies and procedures.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to lift and move products safely, adhering to proper lifting techniques.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of floral products and trends is a plus.

Responsibilities

Product Presentation & Merchandising: Create and maintain attractive floral displays that enhance the shopping experience.
Regularly update displays and rotate stock to maintain freshness and visual appeal.
Cleaning, watering, restocking, and merchandising floral display.
Identifying and removing damaged/outdated floral items from display.
Ensure all floral products are correctly labeled and priced according to Milam’s Markets Pricing Policy.
Customer Service: Provide knowledgeable and courteous assistance to customers, addressing their floral needs and inquiries.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure a positive shopping experience.
Stay updated on floral trends and product knowledge to effectively serve customers and enhance department performance.
Inventory Management: Conducting inventory counts of floral products and identifying needs for replenishment.
Ensure proper handling and storage of floral products to prevent spoilage and waste.
