About The Position

The Floral Manager is responsible for leading and empowering floral associates while ensuring exceptional guest service and hospitality. This role involves promoting sales, managing inventory, and overseeing the operations of the Floral Department to achieve profitability and operational goals. The manager will also provide training and support to associates, fostering a positive work environment that aligns with the company's core values and mission.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED; or a minimum of two years related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents.
• Effective communication skills with guests, vendors, and associates.
• Mathematical skills for managing a profitable Floral operation.
• Common sense reasoning to carry out instructions and solve practical problems.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in floral design or management.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems.
• Familiarity with safety and sanitation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and empowerment to floral associates.
• Model exceptional guest service and hospitality.
• Promote sales through active discussions with guests and product recommendations.
• Perform inventory and monitor financial performance of the Floral Department.
• Merchandise products to enhance sales and customer experience.
• Direct and participate in the cultivation and care of ornamental plants.
• Provide in-service training to new personnel on guest service and equipment operation.
• Identify and support the development of promising associates.
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Participate in accident reduction plans and monitor safety practices.
