  • Ability to provide regular and predictable attendance with varied schedules.
  • Ability to comply with workplace conduct standards.
  • Physical abilities including lifting up to 35 lbs and frequent standing, reaching, and bending.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality customer service following company standards and policies.
  • Train, schedule, and supervise floral clerks to ensure optimal staffing.
  • Manage and meet the floral department’s financial goals and budget.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints professionally and calmly.
  • Perform daily inventory and order necessary supplies to maintain stock levels.
  • Conduct monthly full-department inventory in compliance with company policy.
  • Monitor inter-office mail and company webpage for updates.
  • Prepare and input floral orders into the computer system.
  • Inflate balloons using helium and prepare customer arrangements.
  • Design aesthetically pleasing floral arrangements for display or customer needs.
  • Move stock from storage to display areas and maintain shelf stock.
  • Maintain displays, water plants, trim damaged foliage, and keep the department clean and organized.
  • Assist customers with product selection and provide appropriate guidance.
  • Arrange and wrap flowers for customers.
  • Operate the cash register, process payments, and perform price checks.
  • Follow uniform and grooming policies.
