• Availability for weekends and busy floral holidays
• Sound knowledge of different flower types, arrangement styles, and flower conditioning
• Completion of a Botany-related course is highly advantageous

Responsibilities

• Listen to customers to gain a thorough understanding of their needs
• Engage customers and provide exceptional service
• Examine the sales floor to ensure the floral department is well-stocked
• Order flowers, plants, and other greenery
• Receive shipments and display flowers appropriately
• Create stunning bouquets and floral arrangements
• Advise customers on the care and maintenance of floral arrangements
• Maintain inventory levels and restock as needed
• Ensure flowers and plants are properly watered and stored
• Foster a productive working environment
• Motivate and inspire staff while facilitating personal growth
• Set strategic long and short-term goals and evaluate outcomes
• Guarantee the highest levels of quality are met
• Stay updated with the latest trends in the floral industry
• Perform other duties to ensure the overall success of the company
