About The Position

Fads and Frames in Alexandria has an immediate opening for a Floral Designer. We are a family owned and operated company that offers flexible scheduling in a great atmosphere with competitive pay. We are looking for hard-working, energetic, and dependable people to join our team. The candidate must be highly organized and able to multi-task at all times. The candidate must have floral design experience and be comfortable showing a portfolio or making a sample piece. This person will be a part of our design team that creates custom arrangements, retail arrangements and be apart of our store Design Team. Job Description: Primary job functions will be to create Floral Arrangements and Bows as the Floral Designer for our store. This person will be responsible for helping with the majority of our Seasonal displays, taking orders from customers and creating pieces to sell in the store. This person will also be helping customers with purchases, answering questions and providing general customer service throughout the store.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Floral design experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Computer literate
• Ability to work nights and weekends as needed
• Able to demonstrate or provide a portfolio of their floral design work
