About The Position
Marion Flower Shop is looking for a dedicated Floral Designer Associate to join our team in Marion, Ohio. This position can be either full-time or part-time, and we are open to training the right candidate. The primary purpose of this role is to serve our customers by creating beautiful floral arrangements and providing them with flowering and green plant accessories, as well as care products. As a Floral Designer Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our customers' experiences by delivering high-quality floral designs that meet their specific needs and preferences. In this position, you will be responsible for designing and fashioning arrangements using live, cut, dried, and artificial flowers and foliage. You will meet customer specifications by conferring with clients about their desired arrangements for various occasions such as holidays, anniversaries, birthdays, weddings, and funerals. Your ability to plan floral arrangements will be essential, as you will need to follow clients' requirements and budgets while utilizing your knowledge of design and the properties of different materials. Completing arrangements will involve selecting the appropriate flora and foliage, trimming materials, and arranging bouquets, sprays, wreaths, dish gardens, terrariums, and other items. Additionally, you will enhance the reputation of our florist shop by taking ownership of your work and being open to new and different requests.
