Requirements

Basic knowledge of plant and flower care, including the ability to differentiate between various types of flowers, plants, and related merchandise, and understand their indoor and outdoor care needs.
Strong teamwork, organization, time management, and planning skills.
Excellent communication and active listening skills.
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
Non-slip shoes are required for safety while working in the department.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain visually appealing floral displays that are well-stocked, signed, fresh, and organized.
Follow proper flower handling and safety practices, including care for delicate or specialty florals.
Accurately price floral merchandise and rotate product according to store quality standards.
Provide warm, attentive, and knowledgeable customer service, including assisting with floral selection, wrapping, and arrangements.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the floral department to meet sanitation and quality expectations.
Safely use tools and equipment required for floral preparation, following all safety guidelines.
