The Slot Floorperson/Attendant is responsible for quickly and accurately performing fills and jackpots on machines, as well as minor repairs. This role requires the individual to actively patrol assigned sections of the casino floor, making themselves available to assist customers and provide friendly, courteous service at all times. The Slot Floorperson/Attendant enhances the guest's slot entertainment experience by creating a fun, high-energy environment through the celebration of slot wins and building players' perception of luck. They are expected to display attentive, upbeat, and enthusiastic behavior during each and every interaction throughout their shift, which is referred to as a "Moment of Truth". In addition to providing excellent customer service, the Slot Floorperson/Attendant is responsible for clearly communicating the functionality of the slot floor, including services like Fast Cash (ticket in/ticket out). They must respond to service requests in the correct order, including slot dispatch, slot candle lights, radio communications, and customer inquiries, while meeting or exceeding department service standards. The role also involves verifying and countersigning hand-paid jackpots, resolving guest complaints with urgency and empathy, and maintaining cleanliness and security in the slot areas. A professional appearance, excellent personal hygiene, and phone etiquette are essential for this position. The Slot Floorperson/Attendant must also correct minor machine malfunctions, such as coin jams and printer errors, and participate in slot machine upgrades and new initiatives. Adherence to regulatory, departmental, and company policies is crucial, including compliance with federal and state regulations. The individual must maintain monetary and paperwork accuracy, accurately pay jackpots, perform buy-in transactions, and reconcile their bank or wallet at the end of their shift. Teamwork is emphasized, as the Slot Floorperson/Attendant will participate in team-building sessions to improve guest service and department survey scores. They are also responsible for promoting and cross-selling Caesars brand amenities and property events, staying informed about promotional events, and maintaining in-depth game knowledge to explain games to customers effectively.
