About The Position

The Flooring Salesperson at Oliveira's Fashion Floors, INC. is responsible for managing the entire flooring sales process, from initial customer engagement to project completion. This role requires a strong background in flooring sales, knowledge of flooring materials and installation processes, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in flooring sales (required).
• Strong knowledge of flooring materials, installation processes, and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Highly skilled in measurements and detailed cost estimating.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency with estimating software and tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with customers to understand and fulfill their flooring needs.
• Provide expert advice on flooring materials, styles, and solutions based on customer preferences and project requirements.
• Close sales by effectively presenting proposals, addressing customer questions, and negotiating terms.
• Conduct precise on-site measurements to ensure accurate project estimates.
• Prepare and present detailed and transparent cost estimates to customers.
• Ensure all contracts are signed, materials are ordered, and projects are scheduled properly.
• Collaborate with installers and other team members to oversee the quality and progress of each project.
• Conduct final inspections to ensure craftsmanship meets company standards and customer expectations.
• Monitor and manage project budgets to ensure profitability.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of sales, contracts, and project progress.
