About The Position

HOM Furniture is seeking Flooring Sales Specialists who will receive unrivaled training in product knowledge, technology, and customer-focused sales solutions. The role involves processing sales quotes, measuring jobs, and ensuring comprehensive follow-up on product deliveries and installations. Sales Specialists will also participate in maintaining price cards and light cleaning duties in their assigned areas.

Requirements

• Must be working towards or have a high school diploma or GED; a 2-year or 4-year college degree is preferred.
• One to three years of related experience preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of exceptional customer service experience required.
• Big ticket top writer commission sales experience preferred in areas such as flooring, home furnishings, automotive, recreational vehicles, or appliances.
• Moderate physical demands required; must be able to stand for prolonged periods and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive training on product knowledge of hard and soft flooring surfaces.
• Learn about the technology that drives HOM Furniture.
• Utilize a customer-focused sales solution approach.
• Process sales quotes, measure jobs, and finalize orders.
• Follow up comprehensively on product deliveries and installations.
• Order customized flooring.
• Maintain price cards and perform light cleaning duties.
