About The Position

HOM Furniture is seeking Flooring Sales Specialists who will receive unrivaled training in product knowledge of our vast, quality-manufactured assortment of hard and soft flooring surfaces, the technology that drives HOM Furniture, and our unique customer-focused sales solution approach. Responsibilities include processing sales quotes, measuring jobs and final orders, comprehensive follow-up on product deliveries and/or installations, and introducing customers to ordering customized flooring. Sales Specialists will also participate in maintaining price cards and light duty vacuuming and dusting in their assigned areas.

Requirements

• Must be working towards or have a high school diploma or GED; 2 year or 4 year college degree preferred
• One to three years related experience preferred
• Minimum of 2 years exceptional customer service experience required
• Big ticket top writer commission sales experience preferred, such as flooring, home furnishings, automotive, recreational vehicles, appliances, etc.
• Moderate physical demands required; must stand for prolonged periods and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

Nice To Haves

• Experience in big ticket sales such as flooring or home furnishings
• 2 year or 4 year college degree
