About The Position

The Retail Flooring Sales Representative requires an individual to interact with customer and assist making appropriate design and product choices for the application. He or she is extremely knowledgeable about products, design trends and our market to represent the company in a way that encourages repeat customers and referrals.

Requirements

Product and installation knowledge of floorcoverings (carpet, tile, laminate, vinyl, hardwood, etc...)
Interpersonal skills including excellent listening, verbal and oral communication to allow for professional interaction with customers and vendors and maintain working relationships with co-workers
Professionalism to include dependability, accountability, punctuality, professional dress, speech and behavior and organizational skills
Bilingual in Korean

Nice To Haves

Previous retail flooring sales experience highly preferred

Responsibilities

Greets customers and prospects as they enter the store
Identify prospective customers and respond to requests for proposals in a timely manner
Establishes a rapport with prospects, customers, and others to understand service and sales requirements
Qualifies each customer, determining their needs, desires, and budget
Enters customer orders into RFMS
Ensures availability of merchandise and services and coordinates installation schedules for the customer’s convenience
Other duties as assigned
