Flooring Installer
About The Position
Floor Coverings International, the #1 flooring franchise in North America and part of FirstService Brands, is growing rapidly. With projected sales of $3M in the next year, we are expanding our team and hiring experienced Flooring Installers and Lead Technicians. We are currently building three in-house installation crews and are looking for skilled installers who take pride in their craftsmanship and customer service. Installer Specialties Needed Carpet Installers (pattern carpet, wool, residential carpet) Hardwood Installers (hardwood, borders, inlays, stairs) Tile Installers (floor tile, wall tile, showers, custom work) What We Offer Steady, year-round work Paid Holidays Paid vacation and sick days Health Insurance 401K with company contribution Annual fishing trip to Maine Annual Christmas party Competitive pay: $20–$40 per hour, based on experience Company vans and tools provided Opportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding company
Requirements
- Flooring installation experience (Apprentice to Lead level)
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and perform physical work
- Professional attitude when working in customers’ homes
Responsibilities
- Install flooring according to company standards
- Review project scope and prepare job site
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Deliver excellent craftsmanship and customer service
- Ensure every project meets company quality standards
