About The Position

The Flooring Installer will measure, cut, and install various types of flooring and subflooring according to instructions.

Requirements

• 0-2 years’ previous related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to understand and correctly calculate math and measurements.
• Dependable.
• Prolonged periods of standing, bending, and kneeling.
• Must be able to lift 70 pounds at a time.

Responsibilities

• Inspects, levels and readies surface for flooring.
• Follows instruction on installation of flooring.
• Types of flooring, vinyl, LVT, Ceramic tile and carpet.
• Accurately cuts materials to specifications.
• Maintains a clean work area.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
