Atlanta West Carpets, LLC is seeking a dedicated Field Representative to oversee flooring and cabinet installations in the Chattanooga, TN and northwest GA market area. This role is crucial for ensuring that all installations meet the company's high standards of quality and compliance with industry methods. The Field Representative will act as the primary onsite liaison between the company, homebuilders, and general contractors, ensuring that all parties are informed and that installations proceed smoothly. The ideal candidate will have experience in flooring installation and a strong understanding of various installation methods, including ceramic tile, LVT, wood, and carpets. The Field Representative will be responsible for pre-walking job sites to assess readiness for installation, monitoring ongoing work to ensure compliance with installation standards, and conducting post-walks to verify that completed work meets AWC's quality standards. This position requires excellent organizational and communication skills, as the representative will need to coordinate with AWC Account Managers, subcontractors, and customers effectively. Additionally, the representative will maintain detailed records of job progress, prepare reports, and participate in regular departmental meetings to discuss project statuses. This role demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to enforce safety requirements on job sites. The Field Representative will also be responsible for scheduling deliveries, coordinating subcontractor activities, and ensuring that all work is completed on time and to specification.
