About The Position

The Floorhand has responsibility for executing the day to day operations within company guidelines and policies as directed by the senior rig personnel. The Floorhand participates in a variety of activities in repairing, maintaining, cleaning, and operating rig equipment. There may be times when the employee is required to perform tasks other than those specified here. The Floorhand works under the close supervision of the Driller, but reports directly to the Rig Manager.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One year of rig based experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Ability to stay alert and attentive for up to 12 or more hours a day.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ability to perform work outside with prolonged exposure to the environment.
• Reliable transportation and ability to arrive on time to the assigned worksite.
• Ability to work 14 days on and 14 days off and/or 20 on /10 off.
