About The Position
Key Energy Services is seeking motivated individuals for the Floorhand 1 position at our Tioga, ND location. This is an entry-level role in the oil and gas industry, ideal for those looking to start their career in this dynamic field. As a Floorhand 1, you will be part of a team that performs maintenance and repair services on oil and gas wells using a workover rig. This position is designed for Short Service Employees (SSEs), meaning you will be learning the ropes with less than six months of experience in the industry. In this full-time role, you will work under the guidance of a Supervisor and alongside experienced team members. Your responsibilities will include learning how to operate various tools essential for servicing wells, understanding the hazards associated with the job, and reporting any safety or maintenance issues. Familiarity with company policies and procedures is crucial, as they are as important as the physical tools you will be using daily. You will also assist the Rig Operator in performing necessary maintenance tasks for our customers, ensuring that you gain valuable hands-on experience in the oil and gas sector.
