Responsibilities

  • Performs daily tasks to maintain the facility in a clean, sanitary and orderly condition for the health and welfare of residents, visitors and employees
  • Cleaning includes facility, specifically all floors and carpeted areas
  • Clean resident rooms according to a prescribed schedule, utilizing authorized supplies and in accordance with established procedures
  • Clean offices, common areas, laundry rooms, halls, handrails, fountains, phones, elevators, public restrooms, sitting areas and lobbies, chapel, employee cafeteria, etc
  • Vacuum hallways, porches, dining rooms, elevators, etc
  • Compact trash.
  • Strip floors, wax, buff, vacuum and shampoo as needed
  • Clean stairwells, fire towers and similar areas as scheduled
  • Clean and maintain receiving areas in neat order both inside and outside
  • Clean equipment and store properly.
  • Keep supplied with appropriate cleaning materials, store in authorized/designated area
  • Set up chairs, tables, podium, etc. as needed for special events
  • Attend ‘In-Services’ as required
  • Insure proper appearance and operation of equipment
  • Report malfunctioning or inoperative equipment
  • Performs other duties as required
