About The Position

Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire a Floor Technician who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Floor Technician, you will: • Perform the day-to-day activities of the Environmental Services Department to ensure that our facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner. • Perform daily cleaning of floors and carpets in all assigned areas. All work to be done by following standard procedures of Environmental Services Department to ensure a clean and wholesome environment. • Be able to work effectively with minimal supervision. • Must be familiar with the use of detergents, germicides, and other cleaning/chemical supplies • Collect, pack and dispose of trash according to established procedures

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of housekeeping experience or High School Diploma/GED
  • Ability to communicate at a level, which allows for safe and efficient job performance.
  • Ability to utilize supplies, tools, and equipment safely and properly.
