About The Position
Floor Technician is responsible for stripping, polishing, waxing and buffing non-carpeted floors in the hospital and nursing home. Responsible for shampooing and cleaning all carpeted flooring in hospital and nursing home.
Requirements
- Must know how to use common house-cleaning devices such as mops, broom, scouring pads, etc. to keep areas clean and well serviced.
- Knowledge of vacuum cleaners, buffer equipment, floor stripper and waxes required.
- Must know how to care for equipment, how to measure cleaning solutions and to be alert to hazards.
- Good general health and stress coping ability.
- Physically ale to lift supplies within the department as needed.
- Must have the ability to read and speak English sufficiently to comprehend instructions and to comunicate with patients and staff.
Nice To Haves
- Hight School Diploma or equivalent preferred
