Floor Technician
About The Position
Cleans, sweeps, vacuums, and polishes floors Operates designated floor equipment to include auto-scrubbers, buffers, carpet extractors to strip, scrub, and shampoo and wax floors Coordinates daily housekeeping services with nursing services when performing routine cleaning assignments in Health Care or Assisted Living. Cleans and sanitizes public restrooms and residents’ bathrooms, including cleaning, washing, sanitizing and/or polishing bathroom fixtures. Cleans/polishes furnishing, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling units, etc. in residents’ rooms, recreational areas, etc. daily as instructed. Cleans windows/mirrors in resident rooms, recreational areas, bathrooms and entrance/exit ways.
Requirements
- Six (6) months to one (1) year general housekeeping experience preferred.
- Experience in health care, hospitality or related industry preferred.
