About The Position

Join Platinum Cleaning & Facility Services (PCFS), a division of Healthcare Services Group, Inc., as a Floor Technician, where you will oversee janitorial cleaning and facilities maintenance operations at your assigned primary site. Floor Technicians perform day-to-day cleaning tasks related to flooring in common areas and tenant suites, etc. Overall duties will include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, buffing, stripping, waxing, carpet shampooing and extracting, and responding to all cleaning emergencies. Evening Floor Technicians must be organized, dedicated, and able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously. You will work with management to create an effective cleaning schedule, which will include your day-to-day routines and work timetable.

Requirements

Be able to adapt and work as a team to ensure daily tasks, project work, requests and work orders are completed on time and within company expectations.
Be polite and respectful with clients, guests, and co-workers.
Some experience is preferred. Ability to be able to learn how to operate heavy equipment such as floor scrubber, buffer, etc.
Must be 18 years of age.
Ability to lift items of up to 35 lbs. while moving around and perform other physical duties (i.e., climb ladder, lifting, bending).
Ability to spend up to 100% of the working time standing and walking.
