About The Position

Performs other tasks as assigned by the Nursing Home Administer In assigned areas, perform daily cleaning, buffing, and bonneting procedures . Able to lift 0 - 40 lb. frequently. Capable of standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift. Capable of lifting furniture and equipment (25 - 100 lb.) frequently. Capable of pushing and pulling furniture and equipment (25 - 100 lb.) frequently. Must be able to handle/interact with all chemicals used (i.e., bleach, wax, etc.). Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and even other hours as needed per assigned area. Must have communication skills in English. Follow all infection control protocols consistent with CMS F-Tag requirements (including F880 Infection Prevention & Control). Adhere to The Arbor's Infection Control Plan and Emergency Preparedness Plan. Ensure compliance with Life Safety Code requirements related to environmental cleanliness and safe egress pathways. Participate in facility-wide survey readiness efforts and corrective action plans. Immediately report environmental hazards, spills, or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
