About The Position
Aurora Valley Care Skilled Nursing & Rehab (Caldera Care) is hiring an experienced Floor Technician to join our Housekeeping team! If you have experience with floor care, janitorial services, or housekeeping in healthcare or long-term care, we want to hear from you. Requirements
- Previous floor technician, janitor, or housekeeping experience required
- Ability to operate floor buffers, burnishers, and other cleaning equipment
- Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform physical job duties
Nice To Haves
- Experience in healthcare, nursing home, or long-term care setting preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform floor care duties including stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing floors
- Clean and maintain hard floors and carpeted surfaces throughout the facility
- Operate and maintain floor machines and cleaning equipment
- Follow proper use of cleaning chemicals and infection control procedures
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, state, and federal safety regulations
- Identify and report safety hazards or maintenance concerns
- Complete assigned work orders and daily tasks on time
- Maintain a clean and professional work environment
