About The Position

The Floor Technician is responsible for maintaining and restoring various types of flooring in a healthcare environment. This role involves operating industrial floor care equipment and performing cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a clean and safe environment for patients and staff. The position is full-time and may require working weekends.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance principles and procedures.
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Perform carpet and upholstery cleaning including shampooing and spot cleaning.
• Conduct maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Complete other duties as assigned by the manager.
