About The Position

The Floor Technician position at Crothall Healthcare involves maintaining and restoring floors in a healthcare environment. Requirements

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large areas of floor surfaces.
• Follow proper procedures for carpet and upholstery care including shampooing, damp surface cleaning, extractions, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Complete other duties as assigned by the manager.
