About The Position
Assist in providing complete carpet cleaning, restoration, and hard floor care services to government customers. Maintain industry certifications. Responsibilities and duties of this position include but are not limited to: Perform carpet cleaning services as directed by the floor care technician. Perform hard floor care services as directed by the floor care technician. When required, assist in developing and operating mobile janitorial services. Train staff in the performance of carpet and hard floor services. Maintain company-owned service equipment in a satisfactory state of operation and repair and maintain inventory control and accountability for all assigned equipment. Maintain IICRC certification and other trade-related qualifications. Operate company-owned equipment and vehicles as safely and in accordance with company policy Maintain a thorough knowledge of the contract statement of work requirements as they pertain to carpet and floor care standards. Enhance customer relations. Evaluate service delivery and make changes as needed to ensure high-quality results and customer satisfaction. Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Experience in carpet and hard floor care cleaning procedures and maintenance
- Experience in commercial janitorial services and associated chemicals and equipment.
- Ability to train employees on methods of accomplishing work performance and quality standards
- Have good customer service skills
- Be able to pass a background check
- Able to lift 55 pounds
- Effective oral and written communication skills and must speak fluent English.
