About The Position
FLOOR-TECH/HOUSEKEEPER- KINGSFORD Optalis Healthcare & Rehabilitation is seeking the right candidate to join our FAMILY at our Kingsford facility located at 1225 Woodward Ave. Kingsford, MI 49802. This is a part-time, afternoon position. POSITION SUMMARY: The Floor-Tech is responsible for keeping floors clean and well-maintained throughout the facility. As well as provides heavy, special project cleaning services to provide a safe, sanitary, comfortable, and homelike environment for residents, staff and public. Floor-Tech services are provided in accordingly with Facility policies and procedures and consistent with state and federal laws and regulations to maintain an environment that enhances the quality of life for residents. Prior Floor Care experience required. PHYSICAL AND ERGONOMIC REQUIREMENTS: Functions are carried out in a variety of positions including: Standing and sitting Ability to move freely through the building. Stooping, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying. Other physical demands may be required.
Requirements
- Prior Floor Care experience required.
- Diploma or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Clean, dust, mop, strip, and wax floors.
- Move furniture before and after cleaning
- Operate cleaning equipment
- Follow safety protocols
- Ensure compliance with sanitation standards
- Maintain, store, and clean equipment and PPE
- Schedule cleaning and maintenance duties
- Report maintenance issues to a supervisor
- Other responsibilities may be required.
