Floor Tech
About The Position
The Floor Tech is responsible for assessing, cleaning, and maintaining various flooring types throughout the facility, ensuring cleanliness and proper restoration. They perform routine maintenance on floorcare equipment and assist with general cleaning tasks, including disinfecting bathrooms, patient rooms, and fixtures. Additionally, they follow established schedules, safety protocols, and infection control procedures to maintain a safe and sanitary environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities are carried out in alignment with Tampa General Hospital's mission, vision, and values.
Requirements
- Two (2) years' experience in environmental services, housekeeping, or janitorial work.
- Previous floor care experience (strip, waxing, and buffing).
