The Wesleyan is a senior living and healthcare community located in Georgetown, Texas, that has been providing personalized care and services to seniors for over 60 years. Every day we strive to make a difference in the quality of our resident's lives and we are looking for someone special like YOU to join us in making that difference and making it matter to the residents we serve. We are currently looking for a full-time Floor Tech to work within our Independent Living and Assisted Living communities at The Wesleyan. Prior housekeeping experience specifically in the area of floor maintenance along with a keen eye for detail, a passion for brightening spaces, and a desire to make a positive different through cleanliness and care will be essential to your success as a Floor Tech at The Wesleyan. The schedule for this position is Sunday - Thursday from 7:00AM-3:30PM

Requirements

  • A minimum of one year experience in housekeeping, preferably in a senior living or healthcare community.
  • A minimum of one year experience with carpet, tile and floor cleaning and maintenance.
  • Ability to speak, read and write English.
  • Must have a service-minded approach to all aspects of the job.
  • Alignment with and enthusiasm about The Wesleyan's culture and core values.

Nice To Haves

  • A passion for working within a senior living, assisted living, and/or memory care community is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform carpet and floor cleaning and maintenance to ensure a clean and attractive residential environment.
  • Sweep and mop floors and clean common areas of building.
  • Perform cleaning procedures with appropriate chemicals.
  • Assist with preparation of resident rooms for new occupancy.
  • Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition.
  • Complete other job tasks as assigned by the Campus Director of Housekeeping and/or the building Administrator.
