About The Position

The Floor Technician’s role is to specialize in ensuring the floors and other areas are cleaned and sanitized. The Floor Technician strips and refinishes floors, shampoos carpets, and washes walls, molding and grout. In the absence of a Janitor/Custodian and as otherwise may be needed, the Floor Technician may perform janitorial/custodial functions as well. The Floor Technician reports and addresses hazardous conditions in a timely manner to ensure safety.

Requirements

• Ability to pass background screening.
• Ability to pass pre-employment and ongoing drug and alcohol screening tests.
• Ability to pass requirements to obtain a security badge, as needed by the client.
• Authorization to work in the US as per the E-Verify database.
• Six months to one year floor care experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure assigned flooring is appropriately cleaned and maintained.
• Ensure the safety of all clients and other external and internal stakeholders.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
• Work effectively with coworkers and supervisors to accomplish goals.
• Assist in performing janitorial/custodial functions as needed to ensure the environment is clean and tidy.
• Other duties as assigned.
