About The Position

The Floor Tech provides the cleaning and upkeep of an assigned area. ABM is a military and veteran friendly employer, veterans and candidates with military experience encouraged to apply. Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• 2-4 years of experience required and on the job training provided
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain buildings/facilities
• Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
• Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them. Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. Strips, seals, finishes, and polishes floors Cleans and vacuums carpeted areas, including application of spot cleaning treatment Floor person is responsible for cleaning and maintaining carpet and hard surface floors, including stripping, scrubbing, buffing, waxing, refinishing, sealing and spot cleaning.
• Gather and empty trash Use chemical cleaners and power equipment safety Report needed repairs to management Maintain good communication with team and supervisors Dust and clean furniture, fixtures, floors, walls, and equipment Move furniture and equipment for cleaning Clean windows, glass partitions and mirrors Wash and replace blinds Clean tables, chairs, and food area equipment Service and supply restrooms
• Floor Tech must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned.
• Wipe and clean tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms
