About The Position

The Floor Technician at SkyTop View Rehab Center is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety within the facility. This role involves performing various cleaning tasks to ensure that the environment is comfortable and compliant with health standards.

Requirements

• Must be able to speak, comprehend, read and write the English language.

Responsibilities

• Cleans floors in resident rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, locker rooms and other work areas.
• Sweeps, scrubs, waxes and polishes floors, using brooms, mops and powered scrubbing and waxing machines.
• Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture and draperies, using proper equipment.
• Moves furniture to and from office, as needed.
• Collects and disposes of trash and linens per policy and procedure.
• Polishes metalwork, such as fixtures and fittings.
• Washes windows, door panels, and sills.
• Ensures that all work/cleaning schedules are followed as closely as practical.
• Ensures that assigned work areas are maintained in a clean, safe, comfortable, and attractive manner and free of hazardous objects such as protruding mop/broom handles, unnecessary equipment, supplies, etc.
• Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
• Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
