About The Position

Opened in 2010, Palmdale Regional Medical Center is a 184-bed, acute care hospital located in Palmdale, CA, providing high-quality, award-winning patient care. Palmdale Regional recently joined Southwest Healthcare, a comprehensive network of care with five hospitals and multiple ambulatory locations. Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS), one of the nation’s largest providers of hospital and healthcare services, is the parent company, operating 28 acute care hospitals, 331 behavioral health facilities, and other facilities across the U.S. and U.K. This position, reporting directly to the EVS Director or designee, involves cleaning and maintaining all carpeted and hard surfaces in the facility and performing preventative maintenance on special floor equipment. The role also includes working on special projects and committees assigned by the Director of EVS.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Written and verbal communications, interpersonal skills
• Basic organizational and computer skills
• CPI is required within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all carpeted and hard surfaces in the facility
• Perform preventative maintenance on special floor equipment
• Work on special projects and committees assigned by the Director of EVS
