As the Plant Clean Up, we need someone who is ready to provide a variety of support such as using high pressure washers, driving the floor sweeper, picking up debris, trash and keeping plant and floors clean. This position will work 4:30pm – 12:30am Monday thru Friday or 9pm – 5:30am Sunday thru Thursday. Primary Objective: Helps maintain a clean, safe workplace.

Requirements

1-year previous manufacturing/production experience preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Able to be forklift certified.
Good oral and written communications skills.
Good record keeping skills.
Good listening skills.
Accurate measurement capability.
Ability to understand and speak basic English.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands and reach with hands and arms.
The employee is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
The employee may sit, climb, balance, talk or hear.
Specific vision abilities required by this position includes close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

Picks up trash and debris.
Cleans work areas.
Clean and maintain eye wash stations.
Runs & maintains floor sweeper.
Uses high pressure water hoses for cleaning.
Uses air wands for cleaning.
Sweep and shovel material spills while wearing required PPE.
Performs other related duties such as assisting in loading and unloading trucks and tagging material on those trucks.
Help maintain accurate inventory.
Change brushes and cleaning out floor scrubber as needed.
