About The Position

The Floor Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, focusing on training and maintaining service standards. This role involves connecting with guests, supporting service staff, and ensuring exemplary service while reporting any operational issues to the management team.

Requirements

  • 3+ years' experience in similar positions or 5+ years fine dining experience.
  • Knowledge of restaurant standards and trends.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Motivated to learn and improve.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the restaurant with a focus on training and service standards.
  • Assist and guide the FOH team during service hours.
  • Connect with guests and build relationships with VIPs and regulars.
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees.
  • Provide timely performance reviews and coaching to staff.
  • Monitor FOH operations and ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Oversee retail operations in collaboration with the retail manager and host staff.
  • Assist with monthly inventory and end-of-day reporting.
  • Establish positive relationships with the BOH team and coordinate with other departments.
  • Perform daily administrative and operational tasks.
