About The Position

The Floor Manager at Wegmans is an entry-level leadership role focused on coordinating daily activities of customer service employees and participating in store management duties. Requirements

• Customer service experience, preferably in a food service, grocery or retail setting.
• Proven ability to multi-task and handle interruptions in a fast-paced environment.
• Computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage store operations between daytime and nighttime hours, acting as key leader and liaison among teams and various departments throughout the store.
• Partner with department management to prioritize and delegate tasks, ensuring efficient Front End/customer checkout operations.
• Manage performance of a team of Customer Service employees, providing resources, training, feedback, and development opportunities.
• Provide incredible customer service to customers and employees, championing the company's values and standards.
• Quickly react to operational challenges, partnering with store leadership to problem solve.
• Participate in and/or lead special projects and assignments to enhance company culture.
