About The Position
The Leader in Training (LIT) and Floor Leader position at Buckle Brands is designed to fulfill the company's mission of creating the most enjoyable shopping experience for guests. This role encompasses a variety of sales, merchandising, and operational tasks as assigned by store management. Responsibilities include cashiering, merchandise display, register procedures, and maintaining cleanliness in the store. The LIT and Floor Leader will work closely with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to drive sales, recruit new teammates, and provide effective leadership within the store environment. In this position, the individual is expected to greet guests with a friendly and engaging attitude, consistently providing legendary service. They will answer questions about the store and its merchandise, recommend products based on guest needs, and maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions. Achieving personal sales goals and contributing to the overall sales performance of the store is a key responsibility. The Floor Leader will also be involved in training and developing new teammates, ensuring they meet Buckle's standards for accountability and customer service. The role requires a strong focus on visual merchandising, where the Floor Leader will own and influence product placement and presentation. They will be responsible for ensuring that the sales floor is organized and that new merchandise is displayed appropriately. Additionally, the Floor Leader must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, and adhere to all loss prevention guidelines. This position does not have supervisory responsibilities but requires a collaborative approach to leadership and teamwork.
