About The Position
The Leader in Training (LIT) and Floor Leader position at Buckle Brands is designed to fulfill the company's mission of creating the most enjoyable shopping experience for guests. This role encompasses a variety of sales, merchandising, and operational tasks as assigned by store management. Responsibilities include cashiering, merchandise display, register procedures, and maintaining cleanliness in the store. The Floor Leader works closely with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to drive sales, recruit new teammates, and provide effective leadership within the store environment. In this position, the Floor Leader is expected to greet guests with a friendly and engaging attitude, consistently providing legendary service. They will answer questions about the store and its merchandise, recommend products based on guest needs, and create a personalized shopping experience. The Floor Leader must maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, as well as policies regarding payments and exchanges. Achieving personal sales goals and contributing to the overall sales performance of the store is a key responsibility. Additionally, the Floor Leader plays a crucial role in teammate recruiting, training, and development. They are responsible for recognizing recruiting opportunities, assisting in the training of new teammates, and maintaining a positive floor culture. The Floor Leader must demonstrate leadership actions, ensuring that all teammates are meeting Buckle's standards for customer service and sales presentation. Visual merchandising is another critical aspect of this role. The Floor Leader will own and influence product placement and presentation, ensuring that visual standards are met and that the sales floor is organized and appealing to guests. They will also be responsible for operational tasks, including following loss prevention guidelines, executing point of sale procedures, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Overall, the Floor Leader is expected to support the store's growth and success by providing exceptional customer service, leading by example, and fostering a positive team atmosphere.
