About The Position

JBS is seeking an hourly Floor Janitor 2nd Shift Team Member! Position starts at $18 per hour with a $1 shift differential. Benefits Include Paid vacation and holidays Medical, dental and vision benefits 401(k) plan Better Futures Program Onsite Cafeteria Career development opportunities Essential Duties and Responsibilities To clean and sanitize machinery and floors in a production line setting Responsible for all basic cleaning in and around assigned area Set up, stocks, and maintains cleaning equipment and supplies Monitor and maintain sanitation and organization of assigned areas Operate heavy equipment Stay aware of your surroundings and notify a supervisor if you recognize a hazard Perform other duties as needed or as assigned Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent certification Ability to speak, read, and write English Good verbal and written communication skills Bilingual (Spanish) preferred Must be well-organized with good attention to detail Display strong work ethic and positive attitude Adaptable and dependable with ability to follow direction and work cooperation with others Must maintain a helpful and professional attitude and appearance Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved, instructions and to deal with problems involving a few different variables. Strong desire to work hands-on work environment Good attendance and safety records Must be 18 years of age or older Work Environment Must be able to work in a cold, damp environment Production and maintenance settings Exposure to various chemicals, machinery, and knives Very active position, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and crawling. Must be able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information. Must be able to frequently and regularly use wrists, hands, and or fingers. Acute close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds throughout the day with a partner.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent certification
Ability to speak, read, and write English
Good verbal and written communication skills
Must be well-organized with good attention to detail
