About The Position

The Floor Finisher is responsible for maintaining patient and non-patient care areas within the hospital, ensuring they are kept in a safe and attractive condition. The role involves actively participating in department quality and performance improvement activities while demonstrating adherence to appropriate policies and procedures. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of housekeeping experience.
• Knowledge, skills, and mental development equivalent to completion of 4 years of high school, or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of housekeeping experience in the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and disinfects areas by completing a 7 step cleaning process.
• Practices infection control guidelines by adhering to universal precautions and safety precautions while completing work assignments.
• Maintains equipment, storage rooms, and environmental closets in an orderly fashion.
• Performs all floor maintenance tasks in accordance with departmental policy and procedures.
• Follows Service First principles.
• Fulfills hospital required competencies.
• Adheres to hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
• Completes assigned goals.
