About The Position

Floor Care Technician at Marsden South Shift: Sunday to Thursday and some weekends as needed. Hours: 5:00 pm to 1:30 am. Full-time, 40 hours a week. Hourly Rate: $19.00 Location: Westlake, Texas Requirements: You must be 18 years old You must have work authorization You must at least 1 year of floor care experience in a janitorial setting is required. A criminal background check is required. Job Duties: As you might expect, cleaning is at the heart of what your job will entail. For the most part, you’ll be: Perform scheduled floor care, including area preparation, scrubbing, buffing, stripping, refinishing, waxing, shampooing, and deep carpet extraction. Other projects include polishing tiles, vinyl, and wood floors. Operate and maintain all floor cleaning/finishing equipment including but not limited to floor buffers/burnishes, water extraction machines, and carpet cleaning equipment. Follow all safety and personnel rules and regulations. Ensure surfaces are safe by setting up "wet floor" signs, applying non-slip treatments, and adhering to OSHA standards.
