Located on the Community Regional campus, Burnett Extended Care Center is our brand-new 154-bed transitional care facility opening this summer. Purpose-built to serve patients transitioning from hospital to home, Burnett includes specialized units that focus on quality, comfort, and continuity of care. Perform floor maintenance tasks including stripping, waxing, buffing, and refinishing hard surfaces in patient and common areas . Use specialized equipment to deep-clean carpeted areas and maintain upholstery and furnishings as needed. Clean and maintain upholstery, furnishings, and surfaces in patient rooms and common areas according to established procedures. Whether working independently or alongside teammates, you’ll contribute to a standard of excellence that defines the Burnett experience from day one!
Requirements
- High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate
- 3 months of experience working in a customer service environment
- 2 years of floor care experience or Environmental Services experience
Responsibilities
- Perform floor maintenance tasks including stripping, waxing, buffing, and refinishing hard surfaces in patient and common areas
- Use specialized equipment to deep-clean carpeted areas and maintain upholstery and furnishings as needed.
- Clean and maintain upholstery, furnishings, and surfaces in patient rooms and common areas according to established procedures.
