About The Position

The Floor Care Technician, in accordance with standards of quality, is responsible for providing a safe and hygienic environment for the benefit of patients, visitors, and staff. This role is responsible for ensuring timely cleans in various areas including common areas, patient rooms, hallways/corridors, surgical, procedural and specialty environments in order to meet facility needs. The Floor Care Technician performs additional functions as needed to provide EVS support.

Requirements

• 6 months’ environmental services or floor care experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma/ GED.
• 1 year experience working in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and hygienic environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Ensure timely cleans in various areas including common areas, patient rooms, hallways/corridors, surgical, procedural and specialty environments.
• Perform additional functions as needed to provide Environmental Services (EVS) support.
